Victoria Stanislawski – Athletic Trainer, ATC

Victoria received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training/Health Education from Kean University and her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. As a graduate assistant, she worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the USC cheerleading and equestrian teams. She also served as a physician extender to two of USC Sports Medicine’s orthopaedic surgeons. She completed The Steadman Clinic’s Athletic Training Fellowship program in 2013. Victoria is a board-certified orthopaedic technologist and licensed surgical assistant. She enjoys hiking, cycling, snowboarding and volunteering with the US Ski and Snowboard Association.

Megan Vigil – Clinic Manager

Megan has worked for Vail Summit Orthopaedics since 2003 as Lead Patient Representative. She joined Dr.Cunningham’s team in 2008 as the Surgical Account Representative. Megan now serves as Clinic Manager for Vail Summit Orthopaedics. She enjoys all aspects of the mountain lifestyle, which she shares with her husband Daniel and son Branden.

John Polikandroitis – CEO

John Polikandriotis joined Vail-Summit Orthopaedics as its CEO in 2016 and brings with him more than 10 years of progressive strategic planning and operational experience within the healthcare industry. Before joining Vail-Summit Orthopaedics, he served as the Vice President of Ambulatory Operations for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where he oversaw the ambulatory strategic expansion and operational efforts for one of the largest pediatric systems in the country. John holds a PhD in Biochemistry, a Master of Business Administration in Finance/Healthcare Administration and a Master of Public Health. He has served as a National Baldrige Examiner and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Madelyn (Maddy) Ludwig, MS, ATC, OTC, Athletic Trainer

Madelyn received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree from East Stroudsburg University. As a graduate assistant, she worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Wilson School District. For the past three years she worked in Mammoth Lakes, CA at the Mammoth Orthopedic Institute and had the opportunity to work with the USSA Ski and Snowboarding teams. Madelyn is a board-certified orthopaedic technologist and licensed surgical assistant. She enjoys skiing, traveling, hiking, camping and trail running all with her dog when possible.

Megan Puppe, Surgical Account Representative

Megan Puppe joined Vail Summit Orthopaedics in January 2018. Megan has had many roles in the medical field over the past 12 years. Her diverse background allows her to provide a holistic approach to surgical scheduling and insurance verification. Megan moved here from North Dakota and enjoys all of the activities that living in a mountain town have to offer.

Devyn Parnes, PA-C

Devyn is originally from Sun Valley, Idaho, but has been a Summit County local for a number of years.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2010. After college, she moved to Summit County and worked as a volunteer Ski Patroller at Copper Mountain, a Critical Care Tech at the Keystone Medical Clinic, and a Ski Coach for the Summit Nordic Ski Club. She moved to Chicago for Physician Assistant school in 2016 and earned her Masters of Medical Science from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Devyn is very excited to be returning to the mountains of Colorado where she can continue skiing, biking, hiking, and enjoying our ski town community.
